Approve a price increase for “ITB #21-73 Gasoline and Diesel” to the following vendors as it pertains to the Superfund Tax for oil and petroleum products.
• Petroleum Traders Corporation of Fort Wayne, Indiana
• Pinnacle Petroleum, Inc., of Huntington Beach, California
Effective January 1, 2024, the Hazardous Substance Superfund Trust Tax (aka “Federal Superfund Fee Recovery”) tax of $0.003905 was increased to $0.00405 cts/gal due to the annual adjustment for inflation.
Further, the increase will utilize funds from the departments approved Fiscal Year 2024 budget.
