Interlocal Agreement with Smith County

Upon final review by the District Attorney’s Office - Civil Division, approval to enter into an interlocal agreement with Smith County, Texas, establishing a reciprocal arrangement under which both Smith County and Brazoria County may utilize each other’s contracts that have been competitively bid, in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code.
This agreement is intended to promote efficiency, reduce administrative costs, and support cooperative purchasing opportunities that benefit both counties.
Further, that the County Judge is authorized to sign any documents or amendments related to this agreement; and that the final documents be authorized to be attached to the Minutes.
