Authorization to Utilize a Force Account for the Hastings Phase II Road and Drainage Improvements Project

Approve and ratify the authorization of a force account to be used for the Hastings Phase II Road and Drainage Improvements Project, where initial bids exceeded the project budget assigned by General Land Office (GLO). The county is proceeding with rebidding the project and is shifting a portion of the work to a force account to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Whereas, the attachment indicates the scope and relevant project information; and
Further, that the County Judge or his designee be authorized to sign the attached letter and that a certified copy of this order be furnished to the County Engineer for distribution to all parties involved.
