Authorize County Engineer to Issue Permit to Temporarily Close CR 324 at Rail Road Crossing (Precinct 4)

Whereas, Union Pacific Rail Road (UPRR) will be making repairs at the rail road crossing on CR 324. It is necessary to close the road for the safety of the traveling public, while the repairs are made. The exact schedule requested for closure is August 23, 2024 from 7:00 AM through 5:00 PM.
Therefore, in order to assist the County in protecting the public safety and wellbeing of the general public the County Engineer is hereby authorized to issue permits for the temporary closure of CR 324 at rail road crossing and allow repairs to be conducted after receipt of all documentation required by the Engineering Department to UPRR and / or its designated representative.
Further, ordered that a copy of this be sent to the County Engineer.
