Whereas, on November 8, 2022, the County accepted a donation of a 0.257 acre tract of land within the T.S. Lee Survey, Abstract 318, from Angleton Drainage District for laying out a public road, installing utilities, and maintaining, repairing, rebuilding, replacing and/or relocating such roadway and utilities. Said conveyance is filed in the County Clerk’s File under File No. 2022-065928.
Whereas, the Angleton Drainage District wishes to subdivide Tract 6 and, pursuant to the City of Angleton Regulations, is required to file a minor replat to include the above 0.257 acre tract of land dedicated to the County for right-of-way purposes.
Whereas, the County is required to sign the minor replat as it is an owner of a tract land subject to the minor replat.
Therefore, the County Judge is hereby authorized to sign the Minor Replat on behalf of the County.
It is ordered that a copy of this Court Order be delivered to the County Engineer and District Attorney’s Office.
