Consider, approve and authorize the execution of the attached Resolution, Designation of Sponsor’s Authorized Representative, and Certification of Project Funds.
The funding for this vehicle comes in the form of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant utilizing Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) Airport Infrastructure Grant Funds.
This grant will be a 95% federal share and a 5% local share. Current estimates for the vehicle are set at $700,000.00 The county’s required 5% match, estimated to be $35,000.00 will be provided by a transfer from the Airport Capital/Transfers Budget.
Further, the County Judge is authorized to execute the subsequent Grant Agreement and associated documents with TxDOT Aviation upon review and approval by the District Attorney’s Office - Civil Division.
