Letter of Support for Selection Process for the Brazoria County 2025 TIP Projects Submission

Approve the submission of the following projects to the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) for funding in the 2025 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP):
• Pearland Parkway extension from Dixie Farm to FM 2351 (PSP ID-625)
• County Road 100 from County Road 113 to SH 35 (PSP ID-626)
• County Road 59 widening from Brazoria County Line to County Road 48 (PSP ID 1330)
The aforementioned projects will provide numerous benefits to our community, including but not limited to; enhanced safety, improved connectivity and quality of life, and long-term cost savings.
All the projects selected will have a funding participation ratio of 80% Federal and 20% Local Government. Matching funds will be available in future County Engineering Budgets.
Further, that the County Judge or his designee is authorized to sign the application and any related documents for this submission and that a certified copy of this order be furnished to the County Engineer for distribution to all parties involved.
