County Right-of-Way Permit Fees

In accordance with Texas Transportation Code, Chapter 251, Brazoria County Commissioners Court adopts the following permits and fees related to construction in and access to County Right-of-Way.
Commercial Driveway Permits
• Commercial Driveway Permit - $500
o Permit includes 1 inspection
• Commercial Driveway installed without Permit- $500
• Daily Non-Compliance Fee - $100 per calendar day
o Shall be assessed for each calendar day once identified until the unpermitted driveway is removed or permitted
o Please allow 7-10 business days for processing of driveway permit applications
o Brazoria County reserves the right to remove unpermitted driveways
Commercial Right-of-Way Permits
• Right of Way Permit- $100
o Does not apply to public utilities
Further, that a copy of this order shall be delivered to the Engineering Department.
