Parks Department requests approval to utilize Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act (GOMESA) funding to replace the storm shutters on the Discovery Event Center / Office at Quintana Park. The existing shutters are severely rusted and inoperable. Immediate replacement is required prior to the upcoming hurricane season to secure and protect the county asset.
Procurement is currently being finalized through competitive quotes, with services to be provided by the lowest and best qualified vendor for an amount not to exceed $39,768.37.
