Whereas, on September 27, 2022, through Court Order 7.N.3, this Court approved a tax abatement application for Ascend Performance Materials Texas, Inc. located in Brazoria County Reinvestment Zone No. 22-01;
Whereas, construction, which was previously estimated to begin in 2023, commenced in December 2022, making January 1, 2023, the effective date of the tax abatement agreement;
Therefore, the Court hereby approves the following actions:
The Court hereby approves entering into a modification to the agreement reflecting the effective date of the tax abatement agreement as January 1, 2023.
The County Judge is authorized to execute the new contractual Agreement.
