The Court acknowledges that Dr. Anthony S. Rogers, M.D., is retiring from the position of Local Health Authority effective October 31, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
Therefore, the Court hereby appoints Peter F. Edemekong, MD, MPH, FACPM, who is duly qualified pursuant to Texas Health & Safety Code §121.022, as Brazoria County’s Local Health Authority effective November 1, 2025, pursuant to Texas Health & Safety Code §121.023 for a term of two years set to expire on September 30, 2027.
Further ordered that a copy of this Order be sent to the Health Director.
