Consider, approve, and authorize the attached Resolution relating to the FY2027 Body-Worn Cameras and FY2027 Rifle-Resistant Body Armor funding opportunities, regarding Brazoria County's request for financial assistance from the Office of the Governor’s Public Safety Office.
Further, the Brazoria County Commissioners Court designates The Brazoria County Auditor as the grantee’s financial officer. The financial officer is given the power to submit financial and/or programmatic reports or alter a grant on behalf of the applicant agency.
Further, the County Judge is hereby authorized to act as Brazoria County's Authorized Official and sign any documentation related to the application for the Grant upon review by the District Attorney's Office.
