end

body
Approve the attached Training Repayment Agreement between Brazoria County and Employee. The Court finds that investment in employee CDL training and licensure will improve the quality of services rendered to its citizens. However, investment without an employee’s longevity commitment could be a detriment to the County.
Training and testing for the program will be provided by the Alvin Community College - Corporate Division. The Engineering Department shall develop guidelines and criteria for determining employee eligibility to participate in the program, which may include longevity requirements of County employment.
The County Judge is authorized to sign the above-referenced Training Repayment Agreements after recommendation from the County Engineer. A copy of each signed Agreement shall be provided to the County Engineer and the Human Resources Department.
A certified copy of this order shall be forwarded to the County Engineer.
