Designation of Reinvestment Zone:

Whereas, a public hearing was held on the Designation of the Brazoria County Reinvestment Zone No. 26-02 and the public was given an opportunity to speak and present evidence for or against such designation; and

Whereas, notice of the hearing was given in the manner as provided by law;

Therefore, based upon the information presented to the Court and the public hearing, the Court finds that the designation of this zone would contribute to the retention or expansion of primary employment or would attract major investment in the zone that would be a benefit to the property included in the zone and would contribute to the economic development of the County.

Further that approximately 75 acres-that will be specifically described in the approved agreement-be designated the Brazoria County Reinvestment Zone No. 26-02 for tax abatement purposes in accordance with the guidelines and criteria of Brazoria County and applicable law.

Granting of Tax Abatement

It is Ordered that the application for tax abatement of NeuAg, LLC attached hereto be granted in accordance with the Guidelines and Criteria for Granting Tax Abatement in the Brazoria County Reinvestment Zone No. 26-02 created in Brazoria County for a term of seven (7) years. Abatement of eligible real and personal properties shall be based on the following terms: Years 1-2: 100%, Years 3-4: 80%, and Years 5-7: 70%. Said Company will be investing $40,000,000.00 dollars and creating 15 new jobs in Brazoria County. Said project will bring in 10 construction jobs at the start of construction, 25 construction jobs at the peak of construction and finish with 25 construction jobs.

The Tax Abatement Review Committee met on July 29, 2026, to review the application and found it to be in compliance with the Guidelines and Criteria.
