Engineering Services for the County Road 179 Bridge Repair Project

Approve the expenditure of $30,406.36 to IEA, Inc. to perform Construction Engineering and Inspection “CEI” and Construction Materials Testing “CMT” for the CR 179 Bridge Repair Project.
Whereas, the required repair work is the direct result of damages caused by construction activities conducted by EzeeFiber Utility Company; and
Whereas, the attached scope of work identifies the CEI and CMT related activities for the Project; and
Whereas, funds for this expenditure are available via the 2026 Road & Bridge Budget and the Court authorizes the use of the Brazoria County Insurance Reserve (Fund 73000) for funding of this expenditure.
Further, that the County Judge or his designee be authorized to sign the attached Professional Services Contract and that a certified copy of this order be furnished to the County Engineer for distribution to all parties involved.
