Approval to award “ITB #25-16 Construction for Follets Island Dune Restoration Phase 2 Blue Water Highway Dunes” project, to HGS, LLS dba RES Environmental Operating Company, LLC of Bellaire, Texas who submitted the lowest and best bid meeting our specifications, in the amount of $1,259,763.29 which includes the base bid amount plus the add alternate.
In addition, funds for the project will be utilized from Senate Bill 8 (SB8) of the 87th Texas Legislature Third Session, which allocated Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal
Recovery Funds (SLFRF) received by the State of Texas under the American Rescue
Plan Act (ARPA) to the General Land Office (GLO) for use by the GLO.
Further, that the County Judge be authorized to sign any and all documents necessary to execute said contract on behalf of the County.
