Price Increase for RFP #24-14 Drug and Alcohol Testing Services for the Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD)

Approve a 6.25% price increase for Tomo Drug Testing of Springfield, Missouri for “RFP# 24-14 Drug and Alcohol Testing Services for CSCD” for the primary in-house specimen collection and screening rate. The current rate of $16.00 per specimen will be increased to $17.00.
In addition, the CPI for medical care in our area and the PPI for substance abuse hospitals and found percentages ranging from 1.92% to 9.22%.
Further, the increase is due to increased labor costs associated with staffing and operating the County’s testing program. The increase will go into effect for the renewal term beginning on September 1, 2026.
