That according to Local Government Code §152.014 the following Elected Officials and Grand Jury Members be nominated to the Grievance Committee for the period of January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026. Further, that the County Clerk be authorized to notify members and report back to the Court:
Elected Officials:
1. Brazoria County Judge (non-voting member)
2. Brazoria County Sheriff
3. Brazoria County Tax Assessor Collector
4. Brazoria County Treasurer
5. Brazoria County Clerk
6. Brazoria County District Clerk
7. Brazoria County District Attorney
Grand Jury Nominees Drawn:
1. Ann Merrill- Pearland
2. Angela Ritter- Brazoria
3. Debbie Dittrich - Damon
4. Robin Rios - Richwood
5. Kevin Nguyen - Iowa Colony
6. Ravi K. Singhania - Lake Jackson
7. Giuseppe Castillo - Clute
8. Janice Metzger - Manvel
9. Raquel Green - Rosharon
Further, that the first 3 (three) Grand Jury Members who reply back to the County Clerk’s Office with acceptance letters, will be considered Committee members. The remainder of names drawn shall be considered alternate members to the Committee.
