RFSQ #23-01 Engineering Services for Blue Water Highway Dune Maintenance - Phase 2

Upon recommendation by the Engineering department, approve Phase 2 of RFSQ #23-01 Engineering Services for Blue Water Highway Dune Maintenance with DE Corp., of Houston, Texas, who submitted a negotiated offer of $211,836.00. This includes additional coordination with regulatory agencies, environmental and survey investigations for the extension, final engineering analysis for design, plans, specifications, cost estimates, the preparation of the bid package, bid phase services, and construction phase services .
In addition, the project will be paid for utilizing federal funds from the Department of the Treasury through the State of Texas’ General Land Office, pursuant to Senate Bill 8, which allocated Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) received by the State of Texas under the American Rescue Plan Act.
Further, that the County Judge be authorized to sign any and all documents to amend the existing Professional Services Agreement for Phase 1, on behalf of the County.
