Consider and approve out of state travel for up to nine (9) Sheriff’s Office employees to Washington, D.C., from May 12, 2026, through May 16, 2026, to attend the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial ceremony honoring the late Sheriff Deputy Jesus “Jesse” Vargas, who was killed in the line of duty on January 15, 2025.
All travel expenses will be paid from the Sheriff’s Office FY2026 approved budget.
