The Court hereby adopts the 2024 edition of the International Fire Code, Including Appendix Chapters A-O, attached hereto, regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling, and use of hazardous substances, materials, and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises in the unincorporated areas of Brazoria County; providing for the issuance and collection of fees, establishing an effective date of March 10, 2026 therefore; repealing the existing Brazoria County Fire Code, Court Order No. VII.A.1.b., dated December 11, 2018.
