Consider, approve, and authorize the attached Resolution relating to the FY2026 Paul Coverdell Forensics Improvement Grant Program, supporting the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab’s request for financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Justice, National Institute of Justice, for the purpose of purchasing new forensic analysis equipment.
Further, the County Judge is hereby authorized to act as Brazoria County’s Authorized Official and sign any document related to the application for the Grant upon review by the District Attorney’s Office.
