Organizational and Personnel Position Changes

At the request of Brazoria County Sheriff Leonard “Bo” Stallman, approve the following personnel position changes. These proposed changes are necessary to address evolving operational and staffing needs, improve organizational efficiency, and ensure personnel resources are appropriately aligned with the responsibilities and functions of the Sheriff's Office.
Dissolve Position #00002142; and
Retitle Position #00000568 from Communications Director to Communications & Intelligence Lieutenant; and
Retitle Position #00001960 from Communications Training Coordinator to Communications Operations Manager and reclassify from Pay Grade 38 to Pay Grade 42, Step 7; and
Retitle Positions #00002141 and #00001518 from Telecommunication Operator I to Communications Training Operator and reclassify from Pay Grade 32 to Pay Grade 35; and
Retitle Position #00000569 from Telecommunication Operator I to Terminal Agency Coordinator and reclassify from Pay Grade 32 to Pay Grade 35, Step 10; and
Retitle Position #00002196 from Lead Crime Analyst to Crime Analyst I and reclassify from Pay Grade 39 to Pay Grade 36; and
Retitle Position #00001646 from Civil Deputy to Public Affairs Coordinator.
If approved in their entirety, the proposed position changes are projected to be a cost savings in salary and benefits of $27,847.00 for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2027.
