Brazoria County Parks was awarded $400,000 from the General Land Office as a grant for the Jetty Park renovation and improvement project. The winning bid exceeded the GLO grant funds by $234,388.
In order to award the project, the Parks Department is authorized to utilize an additional $234,388 in GoMESA grant dollars to award the total contract of $634,388 to Shirley and Sons Construction.
The County Judge is hereby authorized to sign any and all documents relating to this Project after review by the District Attorney’s Office.
Further, a copy of this Order be provided to the Parks Department, Purchasing Department and the Auditor’s Office.
