Construction Advance Funding Agreement with TxDOT

Approve the Advance Funding Agreement (AFA) with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for CR 58 Improvements Project (CSJ 0912-31-304) from CR 48 west to the edge of the Savannah Development.
Whereas, the AFA authorizes TxDOT and Brazoria County to participate in roadway construction of CR 58 Improvement which widens the existing 2-lane asphalt road to a 4-lane divided concrete boulevard.
Whereas, funds for the County’s share towards construction are available in the FY 2024 Road and Bridge Budget and will be provided in accordance with the AFA.
Further, by approving the AFA, the County Judge shall be authorized to sign all documents necessary to finalize this Agreement and that a certified copy of this order be furnished to the County Engineer for distribution to all parties involved.
