Approve Contract for Vehicle Repairs with Caliber Collision - Alvin and Exemption from Competitive Procurement Process

The Court approves the contract between Brazoria County and Caliber Collision, a vehicle collision repair shop in Brazoria County, attached hereto as Exhibit 1 (the “Contract”), for the purchase of vehicle parts and service necessary to complete repairs of County vehicles approved for such repairs.
The Court further finds that the Contract is exempt from the requirements of Texas Local Government Code section 262.023 pursuant to Local Government Code section 262.024(a)(11), as the Contract provides for vehicle and equipment repair.
The Court further authorizes the County Judge to sign any documents needed to execute the Contract, subject to final review by the Civil Division of the District Attorney’s Office.
