Change Order No. 1 for Communications Tower for the Sheriff’s Office

Approve Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $240,456.00 to Motorola Solutions, Inc., of Chicago, Illinois for the “Communications Tower for the Sheriff’s Office”, contract number C #23-88, utilizing the Houston Galveston Area Council of Governments purchasing cooperative, per the attached change order form.

 

The change order is required due to the FEMA flood zone requirement that the slab-on-grade foundations be changed to elevated piers and structural steel platforms.

 

Additionally, the change order will be funded in whole or in part by the U.S. Department of the Treasury Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (American Rescue Plan Act, Assistance Listing Number 21.027).

 

Further, that the County Judge be authorized to sign any and all documents to execute said change order on behalf of Brazoria County.
