On February 11, 2025, Harvest for The Hungry submitted a 501C To the Brazoria County Floodplain Department requesting a waiver of the Building Permit Fee’s for the following site:
David Huang: 4450 FM 523; Freeport 77541
Fill and Grade Permit Fee $300.00
Commercial Development Permit Application $575.00
The Court finds it appropriate to waive the Fill and Grade permit fee and the Commercial Development Application Fee as to the proposed development located at 4450 FM 523, Freeport.
The Brazoria County Floodplain Department is hereby instructed to accept the application for commercial development without requiring the County’s Fill and Grade Permit Fee of $300 or the County’s Commercial Development Application Fee of $575 per permit.
Any other applicable State fees shall be still be required, as well as, all other inspection requirements and obligations.
