Creation of Reinvestment Zone:
Whereas, a public hearing was held on the Creation of the Brazoria County Reinvestment Zone No. 26-01 and the public was given an opportunity to speak and present evidence for or against such creation; and
Whereas, notice of the hearing was given in the manner as provided by law;
Therefore, based upon the information presented to the Court and the public hearing, the Court finds that the designation of this zone would contribute to the retention or expansion of primary employment or would attract major investment in the zone that would be a benefit to the property included in the zone and would contribute to the economic development of the County.
Further, that approximately 159 acres, described on the attached Exhibit A, be designated the Brazoria County Reinvestment Zone No. 26-01 for tax abatement purposes in accordance with the guidelines and criteria of Brazoria County and applicable law.
