Renew RFP #20-78 Inspections of Fire Alarms, Sprinkler Systems and Fire Extinguishers

Approval to renew with a price increase for “RFP #20-78 Inspections of Fire Alarms, Sprinkler Systems and Fire Extinguishers” with the following vendors, as per the attached, for a fifth (5th) and final year per the terms and conditions of the current contract which is set to expire September 30, 2024.

 

•                     Summit Fire & Security LLC, of Pasadena, Texas

•                     American Quality Fire and Safety, Inc., of Alvin Texas

 

In addition, add the following to the contract:

•                     Fire sprinklers inspections for the Courthouse Administration Building, Emergency Operations Center and the Facilities Management Warehouse. 

 

•                     Standpipe System Inspection for the Courthouse Administration Building and Emergency Operations Center.

 

•                     Fire alarm inspections for the Courthouse Administration Building, Facilities Management Warehouse and Emergency Operations Center

 

•                     FM 200 Fire Suppression System Inspections for the Courthouse Administration Building and Emergency Operations Center.

 

•                     Fire Extinguisher Inspections at the Courthouse Administration Building, and Facilities Management Warehouse.

 

The renewal term shall be October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.

 

Further, expenditures will be funded by Fire Marshal’s fiscal year budget.
