Professional Survey Services for Future Dredging to Open the Mouth of the San Bernard River

Approve the proposal from GFT, Inc. for professional surveying services for the future dredging to open the mouth of the San Bernard River; and
Whereas, the construction costs have been submitted as part of the CDBG-MIT funds that have been approved by the Texas General Land Office; and
Whereas, the attached proposal outlines the scope of work and fees for the services to be provided by GFT, Inc. and its subconsultants; and
Whereas, the County is working with the US Army Corp of Engineers to perform the work as part of their dredging project in the area; and
Whereas, the Court approves utilization of Road & Bridge funds in the respective fiscal year for the cost of these professional services.
Further, that the County Judge be authorized to sign any and all documents relating to the professional services within this proposal following review by the District Attorney’s Office and that a certified copy of this court order be furnished to the Engineering Department.
