Resolution to Approve Off-System Bridge Match Project (Precincts 1 and 4)

Approve the attached Resolution regarding Off-System Bridge Match Project for the following bridge projects:
CR 200 at Pleasant Bayou NBI: 12-020-0-AA0860-001
CR 171 (Avenue F) at Corner Bayou NBI: 12-020-0-AA0813-00
Whereas, Texas Department of Transportation “TxDOT” and Federal Highway Administration “FHWA”, through the BRINSAP Off-System Bridge Program, allow for the construction of an “equivalent-match” project in lieu of cash for Local Government’s 10% contribution toward the above-mentioned improvements; and
Whereas, the County Engineer submitted CR 676 (Farrer Road) at Varner Creek to TxDOT as its “equivalent-match” project as described in the attached letter and Resolution.
Further, that the County Judge be authorized to sign any and all documents relating to the project following review by the District Attorney’s Office and a certified copy of this court order be furnished to the Engineering Department.
