Upon recommendation by the evaluation committee, award “RFP #26-22 Terminal Building Standby Generator Project” to the highest ranked vendor, McDonald Municipal & Industrial - A Division of C.F. McDonald Electric, Inc., of Houston, Texas, who submitted the best evaluated offer meeting our specifications and scope of work, in the amount of $298,515.00.
In addition, part of the expenditure will utilize Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant funds administered through Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM). The County’s portion of funding for this project was not included in the FY 2026 budget. However, sufficient resources are available through a combination of Fund 52100 (2018 Certificates of Obligation) and remaining appropriations in the FY 2026 Airport Operating Budget (Fund 60500).
Further, that the County Judge is authorized to sign any documents or amendments related to this agreement; and that the final documents be authorized to attach to the Minutes.
