Consider, approve, and authorize the attached Resolution relating to FY2027 Senate Bill 224 Catalytic Converter funding opportunity, regarding Brazoria County’s request for financial assistance from the Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority.
Funding for the County’s required 20% match will be requested as part of the Sheriff’s Office FY2027 budget submission.
Further, that the Brazoria County Sheriff is hereby authorized to act as Brazoria County’s Authorized Official and sign any documentation related to the application for the Grant upon review by the District Attorney’s Office.
